The Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has introduced the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship 2024. This scholarship is for people who want to do a Ph.D. at one of the best 50 universities in the world according to the QS rankings, in certain subjects.
You have until April 26, 2024, to apply for this scholarship.
Although students from Punjab will be given priority, there are reserved spots for students from other areas like AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), FATA, and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Pakistanis who have applied to one of the world’s top 50 QS-ranked universities can apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship 2023.
Applicants can pursue studies in subjects such as Life Sciences Medicine, Engineering & Technology, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences /Arts & Humanities.

Eligibility Criteria for PEEF CMMS
- To apply for CMMS, students must have a valid Ph.D. admission offer from one of the world’s Top 50 QS Ranked (subject-wise) Universities in their desired topic fields.
- During your academic journey, you need to maintain a minimum of 60%.
- On April 26, 2024, you should declare a monthly family income (including yourself, spouse, and parents) of Rs. 200,000/- or less.
- Applicants should not have previously received a foreign scholarship.
How to Apply for the 2024 PEEF Chief Minister Merit Scholarship
- Secure admission to one of the Top 50 QS Ranked (subject-wise) Universities in the World in the selected topic areas mentioned earlier.

- Submit the completed application form to PEEF before the deadline.

Important Instructions
- Permanent/regular faculty members of Pakistan’s public sector teaching/educational institutions are not eligible to apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS).
- Applicants must secure admission to the university and apply for a visa.
- The decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee is final.
- PEEF reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the entire selection process for any reason.
- The deadline for applications to the PEEF Office is April 26, 2024.
