SBP Announces Bank Timings for Ramadan 2024. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced bank timings for the holy month of Ramadan. The Ramadan is expected to begin on March 12.
Banks’ new timings for Ramadan 2024
On Monday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced the timing schedule for banks in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to commence on March 12.
Through a notification, the central bank stated that it will adhere to revised timings during the fasting month, and these timings will also be followed by all banks, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs).

Banks Public Dealing Hours in Ramadan
SBP Announces Bank Timings for Ramadan 2024. According to the SBP, during Ramadan, the banks will operate from 9 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, with public dealing ending at 2 pm.

The SBP further stated that the office hours for public dealing will be 9:00 am to 2:00 pm without any break from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the banks will operate from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
SBP announces banking timings for Ramadan
After Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the timings will revert to pre-Ramadan timings. During Ramadan, the office hours for banks will be 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with a prayer break from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the timings will be 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
