This happened a day after he became the 14th President of Pakistan. He arrived at the presidency in a horse-drawn carriage. After the national anthem played, he looked at the guard of honor presented by the well-dressed groups of the armed forces.

Today, President Asif Ali Zardari was given a guard of honor at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad as he became the President of Pakistan. During the ceremony, the national anthem played while smartly dressed groups from the Armed Forces of Pakistan saluted him. President Zardari inspected the guard of honor. Later, he met the staff of Aiwan-e-Sadr.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa gave the oath of office to Asif Ali Zardari at a ceremony in the President House in Islamabad on Sunday. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, parliamentarians, political leaders, Services Chiefs, and other important people attended the ceremony.

President Zardari, supported by both the PML-N and the PPP, won the presidential elections on Saturday, defeating Sunni Ittehad Council candidate Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

Asif Zardari arrived at Aiwan-e-Sadr on a buggy for the guard of honor ceremony. A contingent of armed forces presented the guard of honor to President Zardari. Bilawal Bhutto, along with Asifa and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, also took part in the event.

Asif Ali Zardari was sworn in as the President of Pakistan yesterday. Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa administered the oath to Asif Ali Zardari in the swearing-in ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr. His rival candidate, Mahmood Khan Achakzai of the Sunni Ittehad Council, received 111 votes.

It is important to note that Zardari was elected as the 14th president of the country on Saturday. Zardari, the nominated presidential candidate of the ruling alliance, secured victory by obtaining 411 votes.
