Weather Update for Pakistan Vs. New Zealand 2nd T20I

The weather didn’t look good for the 2nd T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand a few days ago. But now, the forecast has changed, and it’s expected that the whole game, consisting of 40 overs, will be played on April 20.

In the first T20I match, only two balls were bowled. New Zealand started batting but could only manage a leg-bye before Shaheen Shah Afridi got Tim Robinson out on the second ball. Then rain interrupted the game, and it couldn’t be continued. So, the match ended with no result.

PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I Weather Report

Pakistan will face New Zealand in the second T20I at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on April 20. The first T20I between the two teams was rained out. With limited T20Is remaining before the T20 World Cup, Pakistan is eager to make the most of every chance.

They certainly hope to avoid another washout. Though rain disrupted the first game despite promising forecasts, fans can now feel relieved as the chances of another washout are very low.

Pakistan is likely to stick with the same lineup that played in the 1st T20I match. This means that the three debutants – Abrar Ahmed, Irfan Khan, and Usman Khan – won’t get a chance to show their skills yet.
