The meeting, held in Karachi and chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, included key officials such as the Mayor of Karachi, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Inspector General (IG) Police, Secretary Finance, Additional IG Police, Commissioner Karachi, and other relevant officers.

This financial aid is expected to support around 3.5 million households, each earning a minimum monthly wage of Rs32,000. Additionally, the Sindh Zakat Department will contribute Rs14,000 to 110,000 underprivileged families.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stressed the importance of taking strict measures against hoarding and profiteering activities within the province. He highlighted that while the minimum monthly salary in the province is Rs34,000, 60% of families earn Rs32,000 per month. He urged district administrations to effectively enforce government-regulated commodity prices.

To ensure uninterrupted power supply during Ramadan, Murad Ali Shah instructed authorities to avoid load shedding during Sehr and Iftar throughout the province. Under the scheme, each family will receive Rs5000 through bank transfers during Ramadan, benefiting a total of 3.5 million families and amounting to Rs22 billion in disbursements.
