During his visit to Awaran district of Balochistan, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir emphasized the significance of Balochistan’s success for Pakistan as a whole. He commended the resilience of the people of Balochistan, acknowledging their courage in facing challenges.

General Asim Munir assured the people of Balochistan that the Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies will persist in their efforts to support the region for peace and prosperity.

Interacting with local elders, farmers, and families of fallen soldiers, the Army Chief assured them of continuous support for their security and well-being, while honoring the sacrifices made by the martyrs.

Furthermore, General Asim Munir highlighted the importance of agriculture during his discussions with notable figures and farmers in Awaran. Pakistan’s success links to Balochistan says COAS Munir, He underscored the Army’s commitment to the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) and pledged to provide agricultural facilities, including loans, seeds, fertilizers, and solar tube wells, along with guidance from agricultural experts.

Later, General Asim Munir inaugurated Cadet College Awaran and expressed his appreciation for the establishment of another educational institution in Balochistan. He reiterated Pakistan Army’s dedication to furthering development and relief efforts in Balochistan in collaboration with civil departments. The COAS was warmly received by the Corps Commander Balochistan Corps upon his arrival.
