The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore has chosen to delay two intermediate exams because of the upcoming by-elections.
The board has changed the dates for the intermediate chemistry paper, which was supposed to happen on April 20, and the English paper, which was scheduled for April 22, because the by-elections are happening on April 21.

Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had announced the cancellation of matriculation annual exam papers in Chitral from Thursday to Saturday because of rainfall.
During a meeting led by Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai in Peshawar, the decision to reschedule these papers was made. The meeting concluded to arrange these exams for a different date.
