Today, on 07 March , The CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Ramzan Relief Package 2024 was revealed. This relief package, announced by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, includes a list of necessities ranging in price from Rs. 6.5 to Rs. 7 million, which will be delivered to people’s doorsteps during Ramadan. Additionally, CM Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of Punjab’s first air ambulance within the next three months, aiming to improve healthcare access for residents of hilly and mountainous areas.

The first meeting of the new Punjab cabinet was led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. They approved the ‘Ramazan Nigahban Relief Package 2024’. This plan will deliver around 6.5 million relief packages to families who need them. Over 30 million people will get help from this program. Each relief package will include 10 kilograms of flour, 2 kilograms of rice, 2 kilograms of sugar, 2 kilograms of ghee, and 2 kilograms of besan.

The budget allocated for the Ramzan Relief Package for the fiscal year 2023–2024 is Rs. 5 billion, with an additional Rs. 2.492 billion to be allocated if needed.
