Azad Kashmir Election Result 2024 – Elections for local bodies in Azad Kashmir took place on the 27th of November,2023. The complete results of the elections were released late into the night, as the count was completed by the ROs of the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir. According to unofficial results, PTI secured six seats on the union council in Hattian Bala’s Jhelum Valley out of a total of 18.

Taking to their Twitter account, PPP chairman and foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto announced that the alliance parties had outperformed PTI in the AJK Local body polls.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) came second, winning the 23 District Council seats and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) took 16 seats during the local government elections that took place within Azad J&K (AJK) after three decades. Elections were conducted on 74 UCs in three divisions. The three divisions that were elected comprise Neelam, Jhelum, and Muzaffarabad. According to sources, PTI won the most UCs during Kashmir Local bodies elections in 2024. These are also known as BALDIYATI Elections.

In Neelum Valley, too Neelum Valley, the PTI won the race in the race, taking the district with eight UC seats, according to unofficial results. The non-official results of 664 of the 669 electoral seats in the Muzaffarabad division were received in which the PTI is winning 197 seats. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with 194 seats and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with 127 seats and independent candidates have gained 120 seats.

The Neelum Valley Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won seven seats, while Pakistan Muslim League as well as Pakistan People’s Party grabbed three seats each. Two seats were taken by independents.PTI got 34 seats. PPP took 23 seats. PMLN was able to win 10 seats and various other parties and independent candidates were able to win seven seats.
AJK Local Bodies Election Result 2024
The PML-N won three seats in the Neelum Valley, while the PPP was able to secure two. Jammu as well as Kashmir People’s Party, Tehreek e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have also been able to win one seat each. Pakistan Tehreek-unsafe has won the seat of 10 within Jhelum Valley, followed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, which won five seats. Pakistan People’s Party won three seats.

Azad Kashmir Election Final Result 2023
Results of Muzaffarabad Municipal Corporation wards are PMLN 12, PTI 10, PPP 8, and 6. Two independent candidates were successful in winning two seats there. The results of the one seat on the District Council and four seats on the Union Council are yet to be announced. Results of the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee, and Town Committee have been completed.
