Meanwhile, Arsenal faced a tough challenge against Bayern Munich, who secured victory in an intense showdown. Joshua Kimmich scored the winning goal for Bayern in the 63rd minute, showcasing their defensive prowess throughout the match.
Matthijs De Ligt and Eric Dier stood out for Bayern, while Antonio Rudiger and goalkeeper Andriy Lunin displayed exceptional performances for Real Madrid, preventing Manchester City from breaking through their defense.
