It’s important to note that reapplication is required for candidates who previously applied for BSN Generic. Applications submitted via mail to SHC & ME Department or Punjab Health Foundation/Director General Nursing in Lahore will not be considered. Additionally, candidates who fail to join the college within the specified timeframe will forfeit their seat, which will be allocated to the next qualified candidate meeting the deadlines. Only candidates who adhere to the admission deadlines will be eligible for consideration in future merit lists.
Admission Process:
- The admission process is centrally managed through an online platform by the Punjab Health Foundation (PHF), under the supervision of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.
- Before applying within the specified application period from July 10, 2024, to July 24, 2024, applicants are advised to thoroughly review the guidelines available on the official website (www.pnas2.phf.gop.pk).
- Applicants are required to submit authenticated copies of their CNIC, F.Sc certificate, Metric certificate, and Domicile, along with a processing fee of Rs.500/- remitted to the Bank of Punjab through the designated account.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed Matric in Science with a minimum of 55% marks overall and in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), or
- Candidates must have completed FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks overall, along with a minimum of 55% marks in Matric (Science).
- Additionally, candidates applying for the BSN 4 Years Program must meet the following education criteria:
- Completion of FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board, or
- Possession of A-Level Certification with an equivalence certificate from IBCC.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible, provided they fall within the age range of 17 to 25 years.
Can I apply for nursing after matric?
Eligibility criteria include passing Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Candidates applying with FSc (Pre-Medical) must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board. Female candidates are eligible to apply to most nursing colleges except the one at Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, Lahore, which is exclusively for male candidates.
