The Punjab government has announced the results of the Chief Minister Punjab Bike Scheme 2024 balloting, following a recent voting session. Overseen by Punjab Minister for Transportation Bilal Akbar Khan, this initiative aims to distribute bicycles to male and female students across four categories, offering flexible and interest-free payment options. Interested individuals can now access the list of successful candidates online. However, it’s worth mentioning that the e-Balloting Results for the 20,000 Bikes Scheme are awaiting the decision of the Lahore High Court.

The event saw the participation of vice-chancellors from different universities along with enthusiastic male and female students. Remarkably, the scheme received a considerable response, with a total of 72,640 applications, indicating the substantial demand for solutions enhancing student mobility. Out of these, 57,370 applications were for gas bikes, while 15,270 were for e-bikes, showcasing the government’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and mobility for students throughout the province.

Punjab Bike Scheme Balloting Result 2024
Inclusivity was a key focus of the selection process, with a designated quota for female students ensuring equal opportunities. Following the balloting, the government released the roster of selected candidates. Out of the applicant pool, 19,000 gas-powered motorbikes and 1,000 electric bikes will be distributed to chosen students through the balloting process. Specifically, 11,676 gas-powered bikes are allotted for male students, while 7,324 are set aside for female students. Additionally, 700 male students and 300 female students will be recipients of electric bikes.
