This exciting project will put solar panels on the PTA headquarters in Islamabad, hostels, and zonal offices in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi. These systems can generate a lot of clean electricity for the PTA’s work, ranging from 20.5 KW to 150 KW.

PTA officials say they’re doing this for two reasons: to save money and to help the environment. Electricity costs are going up, so using solar panels will cut the PTA’s electricity bills a lot. Officials say this plan matches perfectly with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s idea of switching all government buildings to solar power. The PTA is leading the way, showing other public offices how they can use renewable energy too.
