Starting from January 22, 2024, the NADRA Power of Attorney 2024 Online Application is now available. If you are a Pakistani living abroad, you can apply online using the official website www.poa.nadra.gov.pk. Pakistan is making things easier by going digital, and many departments are now providing services online.

In recent news, NADRA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) are introducing a new digital process for issuing Powers of Attorney to Pakistanis living in other countries. The NADRA Power of Attorney 2024 Online Application Process began on January 22, 2024. This new technology-based software makes it simple for Overseas Pakistanis to apply for and receive a Power of Attorney (Poa) from the comfort of their homes.

- Applicants and two witnesses (best four fingers).
- Aspiring individuals must be Pakistanis living overseas.
- Provide a scanned copy of the original Power of Attorney, with signatures, thumb imprints, and pictures of applicants and witnesses, as well as any relevant affidavits.
- Provide Applicants’ email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses in the country of application (outside of Pakistan).
- Use a credit or debit card to pay the application fees online.
- Valid identification documents for candidates, witnesses, and attorneys, including CNIC/NICOP/POC (front and back).

With this newly developed software, Pakistanis living abroad can apply for and obtain a Power of Attorney (PoA) without the need to visit the Pakistani Foreign Mission (FM), which can be inconvenient due to geographical distances.
Apply for Online Power of Attorney (poa)
- Applicants need to establish an account using a valid email address.
- Verify the email by utilizing a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the designated email.
- Applicant’s Information,
- Details of Two Witnesses and the Attorney (including pictures, CNIC details, etc.).
- Upload the original Power of Attorney, signed by the Executor with thumb impressions, in scanned form.
- Note that unsigned copies will not be accepted, leading to rejection by the Consulate.
- Attach other supporting documents, including any required affidavits (scanned copies).
- Include a scanned copy of the original Power of Attorney featuring signatures and thumb impressions of the executant(s) and witnesses, along with a photo of the executant affixed to it.
