Mohsin Naqvi assumed office as the 49th Federal Minister of Interior, along with the additional responsibility of Minister for Narcotics Control.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received congratulatory messages from foreign counterparts, including the Foreign Ministers of the Czech Republic and Maldives, as well as the Ukrainian Foreign Minister. They expressed their well-wishes and eagerness to strengthen bilateral relations under Dar’s leadership.

Later, Naqvi visited the Ministry of Narcotics Control, where Federal Secretary Capt (Retd) Munir Azam briefed him on the ministry’s functions and operations.
