Karachi Police Announce Traffic Plan for Youm-e-Ali Procession. The Karachi Traffic Police have announced the route plan for the main procession of Youm-e-Ali (RA), which is set to occur on the 21st of Ramadan (Monday).

The procession, honoring the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA), will begin from Nishtar Park and follow its usual routes, concluding at the Hussaniyan Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar.

According to a spokesperson for the Karachi Traffic Police, the central majlis commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali will be held at Nishtar Park.

The procession will follow a route from Nishtar Park to Empress Market in Saddar, passing through Numaish, MA Jinnah Road, and Sea Breeze. As the procession reaches Regal and Saddar, it will return to MA Jinnah Road at the Tibet Centre.

To facilitate the procession, certain routes will be closed to regular traffic, with traffic police guiding motorists to alternative routes. After departing from Nishtar Park, traffic from the city will be redirected through Soldier Bazaar (Bahadur Yar Jung Road), Coast Guards, and Anklesaria Chowk to Nishtar Road.

Motorists heading from Nazimabad to MA Jinnah Road will be diverted from Lasbela Chowk to Nishtar Road, and then directed towards Garden to reach their destination.

Traffic plan issued for Youm-e-Ali in Karachi

For traffic heading towards MA Jinnah Road from Liaquatabad, the redirection will occur from Teen Hati Chowk to Jail Road, then onto Martin Road. Karachi Police Announce Traffic Plan for Youm-e-Ali Procession, These vehicles will proceed to Jail Chowrangi Flyover and continue via Jail Road through Jamshed Road, Dadabhai Noorji Road, Kashmir Road, and finally onto Sharea Quaideen towards Sharea Faisal.

Likewise, vehicles traveling from Stadium Road to MA Jinnah Road will be directed to New MA Jinnah Road. From there, they will be redirected via Dadabhai Noorji Road, Kashmir Road, and Society Light Signal to reach Sharea Quaideen, leading to Sharea Faisal.

Drivers planning to travel from Gulberg to MA Jinnah Road will be rerouted from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Nazimabad Chowrangi No. 2, then directed via the Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, Shershah, and finally to Mauripur.

Karachi Police Announces Traffic Plan For Youm-E-Al

Traffic originating from Gurumandir Chowk will not be allowed to access the procession route. Instead, all vehicles from Gurumandir Chowk will be redirected to Bahadur Yar Jung Road. Similarly, vehicles traveling from Sharea Quaideen to Naumaish Chowrangi are advised to proceed past Society Office Chowrangi without deviation.
