Dr. Marwan Al Mulla explained the simple process of obtaining the permit, which can be done within a day and remains valid for up to three months. The application process is facilitated through the electronic system “Sheryan,” accessible via the medical director’s account of the licensed healthcare facility.

However, securing a permit in a specific specialty does not guarantee obtaining a professional license in the same field later on. Obtaining a professional license is subject to meeting specific requirements outlined in the Unified Professional Qualification Guide.
