Chief Minister KP Increases Aid Packages for Laborers on Labor Day. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, announced on Labor Day that the provincial government will double the assistance provided to laborers.
Additionally, CM Gandapur instructed the appointment of magistrates to guarantee that laborers receive the government-mandated minimum wage. He also directed the Labour Department to transfer ownership of 2,056 residential flats in Peshawar to laborers.
Moreover, he emphasized the need to raise packages for laborers in line with the increased revenue of the Labour Department.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the importance of transferring laborers’ salaries through bank accounts and establishing an efficient monitoring system to ensure compliance with minimum wage regulations.

CM Ali Amin allocated Rs. 177.5 million to the Labour Department for educational expenses of children. This fund will support 22,354 students.
Additionally, he pledged to safeguard laborers’ rights through new legislation and reforms within the current legal framework.
