Individuals aspiring to run for office are actively obtaining their registration papers from the Returning Officer (RO) offices in Islamabad and other provinces.Candidates can officially submit their registration papers at the designated RO office from December 20 to 22. Starting from December 23, the preliminary list of candidates will be made public. The period from December 24 to 30 will be dedicated to carefully reviewing the registration papers.
Election Commission of Pakistan announce Candidate List 2024
The Election Commission of Pakistan has outlined essential rules for registration paperwork. Each candidate can submit up to five registration papers, each with a different proposer. The fee for National Assembly seats is Rs 30,000, and for Provincial Assembly seats, it is Rs 20,000. Candidates must be Pakistani citizens of at least 25 years of age when they submit their registration papers.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has picked up registration papers for NA-194 in Larkana. Registration papers have also been submitted for Jahangir Tareen, the leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), by three districts.
