Professor Bareech stressed the importance of paying the salaries immediately and finding a lasting solution to the university’s financial problems. The teachers were unhappy with the government’s lack of action to address the crisis, which has affected the university’s staff.

Carrying signs that called for justice, the protesting teachers criticized the university administration, as well as both provincial and federal governments, for ignoring the education sector and not having a clear education policy.

The protesters claimed that both previous and current provincial governments have completely ignored the education sector, pointing out the lack of a clear education policy.

This protest is another episode in their ongoing struggle, coming just one month after a loud demonstration outside the Balochistan Assembly.

This protest came after a similar demonstration held outside the Balochistan Assembly just a month ago, showing that the teachers are still determined despite facing setbacks. The road blockage from the protest caused inconvenience to many people and disrupted their daily routines. Muhammad Tanveer, a primary school teacher, expressed his frustration about the extended road closure, which made it difficult for him to pick up his children from school.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti is under increasing pressure as the situation intensifies.

Following the road blockages, senior administration officials met with the protesters to negotiate, which resulted in the roads being reopened for traffic, providing temporary relief from the disruptions. However, this only slightly eased the tension.
