Punjab Govt Announces 9 Eid Holidays for Daanish Schools. The Punjab government has declared nine holidays for students attending Daanish Schools in Rahim Yar Khan, Hasilpur, Chishtian, Mianwali, Attock, DG Khan, Rajanpur, and Vehari in observance of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a notification issued by the provincial government, these schools will be closed from April 6 to April 14. The notification also states that students are permitted to leave on April 5 after the completion of classes.
Regular classes will resume on Monday, 15th April 2024, according to the routine schedule,” the notification stated.

Traditionally, Eid holidays begin a day earlier than the expected date to give people enough time for preparations and to participate in the joyous festivities.
With the government reportedly considering a four-day holiday from April 9 (Tuesday) to April 12 (Friday), along with the regular weekend holidays on Saturday and Sunday observed by both government and some private offices, the total holiday period is expected to extend to six days, according to the state-run APP.

According to the state-run APP, the government is considering a four-day holiday starting from April 9 (Tuesday) to April 12 (Friday). However, government and some private offices are expected to have a six-day holiday period, considering the usual weekend breaks observed on Saturday and Sunday.
Recently, a notification regarding Eid holidays also circulated, claiming that Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be observed from April 9 until April 12.
